DIRECTIONS - STANDARD

1. Brush on Sealit Membrane approximately 2mm thick, covering the total area to be treated and continue to obtain a protruding bulge on the extremities or continue to coat the face one course down.

2. Allow to dry for 12 - 14 hours depending on prevailing temperatures. Drying is indicated by formation of a firm skin on the Sealit Membrane and the Sealit Membrane becoming clear.

3. Continue the next course of construction.

ADDITIONAL DIRECTIONS - ON SLAB

1. Apply Sealit Membrane 20mm wider than the bricks / blocks to be used in the construction.

ADDITIONAL DIRECTIONS - RECESSED SLAB

1. Coat both horizontal and vertical faces of recess, plus protruding overhang on external extremity.

ADDITIONAL DIRECTIONS - DOUBLE BRICK

1. Apply base Sealit Membrane, as above, followed by a further coating two courses up the inner skin and two courses up the inside of the outer skin and around weep holes during construction.

APPLICATION

Best method - A thick brush.

COVERAGE.

Membrane - Approximately 1.5 - 2 m2 per litre, job dependant.

WARNING / NOTES

Sealit Membrane / R.D.C. is not suitable for traffic areas and must be covered with tiles - carpet or other suitable coating - DO NOT LEAVE EXPOSED.

Sealit Membrane / R.D.C. is not designed as a large gap size filler - pre-treat with suitable compound.

Wash all equipment immediately in water. If product has dried on equipment, clean with a petrol dampened cloth (Taking normal precautions).

Sealit Membrane / R.D.C. is acknowledged by Queensland Government Authority as an Effective waterproofing agent.

Testing Sealit Membrane / R.D.C. on single leaf bricks, blocks, cavity brick & slabs, as a damp course shows no loss of bond strength & no moisture penetration of the membrane.
