DESCRIPTION

Glaze is a high performance clear waterproof coating designed to enhance and protect a wide range of porous surfaces.

Glaze is a low odour, low VOC coating formulated on self cross linking nano polymers. It has many benefits over traditional acrylic coatings such as excellent early water and blush resistance, short dry time, superior exterior durability, low dirt pickup, excellent adhesion and resistance to a range of harsh chemicals.

A key benefit of Glaze is that it can be applied to damp surfaces and also has good resistance to ‘green concrete’. Glaze is non yellowing and has demonstrated resistance to hot tyre pickup. Glaze has also shown to perform well in demanding situations like wet areas and pools surrounds where solvent or silicone based products are normally required. Glaze can be used for a wide range of projects where a clear hard protective finish is required.

PREPARATION - This Step Must Be Followed

Ensure surfaces are dry and free from loose material. Mix contents well prior to application.

We advise testing prior to aplication to ensure water does not bead as this may indicate the presence of existing coatings.

APPLICATION

1st Coat: For less porous substrates dilute 2 parts Glaze to 1 part clean water. Apply with brush, roller or spray taking care to ‘wet out’ all areas. While still damp work back over original area to ensure surface is fully coated.

2nd Coat: Apply second coat neat. Work in smaller sections to ensure area is fully coated. Do not allow Glaze to pool as this may prolong drying time. Additional coats may be applied to increase sheen level and protection.

Glaze may become slippery when wet on some surfaces and we recommend the use of an anti slip additive where this may pose a risk.

Please refer to our website for precautions on driveways, pool surrounds, non porous and previously coated surfaces.

Glaze is water based for applicator safety and ease of use.
