CRUMBLING MORTAR JOINTS

Note:   Undercoat / Primer where required, is Sealit Multi Purpose "Soak in Mix"
i.e..: 50% Sealit M.P. & 50% Water

DIRECTIONS

  1. Clean the surface until free of dirt, grease etc.

  2. Repair cracks or holes with a cement mortar mix adding Sealit Multipurpose to the mix (approximately 1:4 with water), for strength.

  3. Allow to dry.

  4. Apply, very liberally, one coat of 'Soak in Mix', (50% Sealit Multipurpose, 50% water), concentrating on mortar joints.

  5. Allow to dry.

  6. Apply one coat of neat Sealit Multipurpose, once again, concentrating on mortar joints.

  7. Allow to dry.

 

APPLICATION

Best method - Pump up garden spray, or airless spray.

 

COVERAGE

Neat Sealit Multipurpose - Approximately 10m2 per litre.

'Soak in Mix', (50% Sealit Multipurpose, 50% water) - Approximately 5m2 per litre.

i.e. flat masonry surface - approx 100sqm / 20L pail - two coat application.

 

WARNING / NOTES

Sealit Multipurpose is not recommended as a final coating for traffic areas, tables, seats etc., or non porous surfaces; i.e. ceramic tiles, glazed bricks, glass etc.

During the curing period, (4-12 months), clear Sealit Multipurpose may show up slightly cloudy when wet. This will disappear when the surface dries out.

Wash all equipment immediately in water. If product has dried on equipment, clean with a petrol or mineral turpentine dampened cloth (Taking normal safety precautions).
