OTHER USES QUICK-GUIDES

NOTE:- A 'Soak in Mix', where applicable, consists of 50% Sealit Multipurpose, 50% water.
  1. SLAB FLOORS: Apply before laying carpet or vinyl to restrict rising damp.

  2. PARTICLE BOARD FLOORING: One neat coat of Sealit Multipurpose for moisture protection.  NOTE:- Never use on timber floors that are to be polished or not being covered with carpet or vinyl etc.

  3. CONCRETE REPAIRS: Clean and repair the area being worked with Sealit Multipurpose, then add Sealit Multipurpose to the cement mix, (approximately one to four with water), for a stronger union at the joints.

  4. ROUGH ABSORBENT TIMBERS: Apply one or two neat coats as required. Suitable for interior only.

  5. CRAZED FIBREGLASS: (Tractor canopies and such).  Apply one or two neat coats of Sealit Multipurpose as required.

  6. STAIN BASE: For rough sawn / absorbent timber, fibre and concrete products.  To obtain timber colours, use the standard polyeurethane formulae, for the specific timber colours, or the stain of your choice.  For a solid, opaque finish add 10% of white waterbased acrylic/vinyl paint to Sealit Multipurpose before tinting.

  7. ROOFTILE GLAZE: Clean thoroughly, apply one coat of 'Soak in Mix', (50% Sealit Multipurpose, 50% water), followed by one coat off Sealit Multipurpose full strength.

  8. UNDERCOAT: Sealit Multipurpose offers a highly adhesive bonded surface for water based coatings and reduces the quantity of topcoat material usage (suitable most surfaces).

  9. GENERAL ADHESIVE: Suitable for timber, cardboard or paper.

  10. GENERAL BONDING / SEALING: For masonite, plywood, pineboard, masonry and plaster, sculptures, artists boards, etc.

During the curing period, (4-12 months), clear Sealit Multipurpose may show up slightly cloudy when wet. This will disappear when the surface dries out.

Wash all equipment immediately in water. If product has dried on equipment, clean with a petrol or mineral turpentine dampened cloth (Taking normal safety precautions).
