DIRECTIONS

1. Check all mortar joints are free from cracks or holes and repair if required with an approximate 3:1 sand / cement mixture. Sealit added to the mix approximately 1:4 with the water helps bonding and waterproofing.

2. Remove protruding 'dags'

3. Check that a truly effective rubble drainage system, complete with agpipe and allowing smooth run-off, has been installed. Totally remove all dust and dirt to allow complete coverage.

4. Apply liberally, one nice, even, heavy coat of 'Soak in Mix', (50% Sealit Multipurpose, 50% water), flooding the mixture into every mortar line especially, and making sure to cover the joint between the wall and the drainage system.

5. Allow to dry.

6. Apply 1.5-2mm Sealit Liquid Membrane, once again making sure to cover the joint between the wall and the drainage system.

7. Allow to dry (clear).

8. Cover entire area with builder's plastic to protect from damage caused by back filling.

9. Ensure area above retaining wall is totally sealed.

APPLICATION

Best method - 'Soak in Mix', (50% Sealit Multipurpose, 50% water) - Low pressure airless spray, pump up garden spray.

Best method - Membrane - A thick brush.

COVERAGE.

'Soak in Mix', (50% Sealit Multipurpose, 50% water) - Approximately 5m2 per litre.

Membrane - Approximately 1.5 - 2 m2 per litre, job dependant.

WARNING / NOTES

Sealit Membrane / R.D.C. is not designed as a large gap size filler - pre-treat with suitable compound.

Do not leave Sealit Membrane / R.D.C. exposed - it is not suitable for traffic, cover accordingly.

Wash all equipment immediately in water. If product has dried on equipment, clean with a petrol dampened cloth (Taking normal precautions).

Sealit Membrane / R.D.C. is acknowledged by Queensland Government Authority as an Effective waterproofing agent.

Testing Sealit Membrane / R.D.C. on single leaf bricks, blocks, cavity brick & slabs, as a damp course shows no loss of bond strength & no moisture penetration of the membrane.
